Catechism Quiz
A quiz is a multiple-choice game: you write the questions on a computer, players answer on their phones, and the results appear on a big screen for everyone to see.
- Do it on
- Computer to prepare · phones to play
- Time needed
- 15 minutes to prepare
- Before you start
- A parish Dashboard account
- When you finish
- A quiz game for your gathering
Three steps
What you need on the day
- A computer connected to a big screen or projector — to show questions and the room code
- Players' phones — one each, with the Thông Tin Công Giáo app installed
- Wi-Fi for the room — answers are sent in real time
Put players in groups of three or four sharing one phone. Still fun, and quieter.
Good times to use it
- Reviewing the lesson at the end of catechism class — ten questions on what was just taught
- Youth group meetings, summer camps, patronal feasts
- A quick check before sacrament preparation

Frequently asked questions
Do players need the app installed?
Yes. Each player needs a phone with the Thông Tin Công Giáo app installed to join the room by code and answer questions.
What if there are not enough phones?
Put players in groups of three or four sharing one phone. Still fun, and quieter.
Someone froze mid-game?
Ask them to close the app and rejoin the room with the same code. Points from questions already answered are kept.
A player joined but their name is not on screen?
Check that phone's connection, or have them leave and rejoin the room.
What do I need to prepare beforehand?
A computer connected to a large screen or projector to show the questions and the room code, a phone for each player, and a connection for the whole room — answers are sent in real time, so the network is what decides whether the session runs smoothly.
