BackgroundWhat Light Points mean
The three fastest ways to earn
| What you do | Points |
|---|---|
| Check in every day | A steady amount daily, just open the app |
| Finish a Faith Journey stage | 200 points plus a certificate card |
| Daily tasks: read Scripture, pray, check in at church | A share of points for each |
Light Points work best as a reason to pray and read Scripture more regularly — that is all they are for.

Frequently asked questions
What are the points for?
Three things: a daily nudge toward devotion, a record of your journey so you can look back on how far you have come this year, and collecting Saint Cards — 1000 points opens one card.
Which tasks earn points?
Four daily ones: Check in at church, Read Scripture, Join in prayer, and Open your heart to God. There are also one-off special tasks worth more, including finishing a Faith Journey stage for 200 points.
The check-in-at-church task will not work?
That task needs location permission and you have to be near the church. Check location permission in your phone settings.
How much do the points really matter?
Light Points are meant as a reason to pray and read Scripture more regularly — the number is only a record, not the goal. See What Light Points mean.
